The Funding Network's latest meeting raises £24,537

Howard Lake | 2 June 2004 | News

The Funding Network’s second evening meeting was held last Thursday and participants raised £24,357.

The Funding Network is a method of making giving to charity a more collaborative and involved experience for the donors. The Network arranges meetings where would-be donors listen to presentations from around eight to ten voluntary organisations making their case for support. Members of the audience are then invited to make pledges if they wish to support one or more of those organisations. Presentations by organisations at these events are by invitation only.

The next Funding Day takes place on 3 July 2004 at RIBA in London. There are 19 projects before the selection committee for this event.
