US fundraising consultant and author Kay Sprinkel Grace gave the closing plenary address at last week’s International Fundraising Congress.
Her speech was entitled “Donor Driven Philanthropy: how the dreams of donors are changing philanthropy”. Walking in to the strains of The Beatles’ “All You Need is Love” she shared examples of donors getting more engaged in philanthropy, challenging fundraisers to develop and work with them more effectively.
