Children's charity relaunched as Little Hearts Matter

Howard Lake | 11 March 2004 | News

Children’s heart charity Little Hearts Matter will be launched on Friday 19 March 2004 at the House of Lords.

The charity is the national voice for children and their families where a single ventricle congenital heart condition has been diagnosed. The charity, formed in 1994 as Left Heart Matters to look after people affected by one specific type of heart condition (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome), has now expanded its services to provide support for families affected by other single ventricle heart conditions.

Little Hearts Matter’s Patron, Baroness Howarth of Breckland MP, will host the national launch. Simultaneous events will take place at cardiac centres across the country with parents, children, hospital staff and local celebrities.
