Mary Cresswell joins Blackbaud as Principal Consultant
She will help launch consulting services for non-profits in the UK voluntary sector.
An experienced fundraiser, Mary joins Blackbaud from Save the Children, where she was a corporate development executive for Scotland responsible for creating, building and leading a team that increased corporate support to almost £1 million. She joined Save the Children in 1993 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility.
“We are excited to have Mary join us and assist in our efforts to help non-profits better plan for, implement and effectively use technology to meet their fundraising goals,” said Walter Miller, Managing Director of Blackbaud’s European operation.

In her new position, Mary will partner with UK non-profits to help them ensure they maximise the potential of The Raiser’s Edge in meeting their objectives. She will work closely with clients to identify opportunities to improve business processes that take full advantage of their software investment. The consultancy Mary will offer will show organisations, both large and small, where changes in their current processes and use of the system can lead to increased efficiency and productivity.
A member of the Institute of Fundraising, Mary also serves as a director on the board of Catherine Wheels, a children’s theatre company.
