Major charities support Charity Commission's call for improved reporting

Major charities have given a warm welcome to the Chief Charity Commissioner’s call for more detailed narrative in charities’ annual reports.

Some of them felt that they were already achieving the high standards laid out by John Stoker’s recent letter. Others acknowledged the need to move beyond a simple technical compliance with accounting reporting and present a more rounded and detailed narrative.
