Legacy Fundraising Chat is a new podcast series designed to help fundraisers make the most of their legacy fundraising efforts.

The podcast is the creation of fundraising consultant Sanita Guddu of Persuasion, who offers consulting, training and coaching to fundraisers. A former Legacy Marketing Manager, she has managed regional legacy teams, and organised and presented at over 100 legacy events.

She told UK Fundraising: “I love the whole journey from having conversations to stewarding pledgers.”

As a consultant she says that she speaks to many legacy fundraisers who are either overwhelmed with the work or are struggling to make time to promote legacy fundraising.

So for the past few months she has been working on the Legacy Fundraising Chat series, designed for all legacy fundraisers, whether they are new to the area or are veterans at it.

She said: “This podcast will provide nuggets of wisdom, easy actionable tips and guest speakers from across the sector. All to help fundraisers with their legacy fundraising efforts.”

The first three episodes are already available via the main podcasting platforms – Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Podcast Addict and Spotify.

Guddu says: “I truly believe that Legacy Fundraising Chat will help more charities raise more money through legacy fundraising, creating sustainability for their cause.
