GIvePenny adds virtual events and appeals to online giving platform

New features on online giving platform GivePenny mean charities can now host dynamic virtual events and appeals on the site.
The new features have been designed to show how much money has been raised, and to include totals for whatever fundraisers are counting, such as miles or steps, as part of their challenges.
The user experience has also undergone changes, with fundraising pages now able to be published in less than 10 seconds, according to GivePenny, and charities now have more control over the appearance of their fundraising pages.
Twenty charities have now registered to accept donations through GivePenny.com, including Winston’s Wish, The Theodora Children’s Charity, and Tŷ Hafan.
Lee Clark, founder and CEO of GivePenny, said:

“Since our launch at the beginning of the year, we have listened intently to the charities engaging with GivePenny so we could build, test and release new features they want, along with some ideas of our own.”
