1) RSPCA Big Walkies

Vitality has teamed up with the RSPCA to launch 2016 Big Walkies – an initiative that encourages dog owners and their furry friends to be active while at the same time raising money for animal welfare. Four Big Walkies flagship events took place in London (Crystal Palace and Alexandra Palace), Bournemouth and Cardiff in May, and these are being followed by 42 events across England and Wales. Entrants and their dog can sign up to take part in either a 3km or 5km walk. All Big Walkies events are also open to people who don’t have a dog but still want to get involved. Last year more than 3,500 dogs, 6,000 owners and 750 volunteers participated, raising over £100,000.
