eBay & PayPal are again offering charities with a turnover of up to £1.5m the opportunity to raise money from eBay shoppers during June’s Small Charity Week.
Small Charity Week runs from 13th – 18th June this year, and eBay is inviting small charities to ask their celebrity supporters, patrons, and corporate supporters to provide a special auction lot that can’t be bought on the high street for the online auction. In addition to the funds raised from the items, PayPal Giving Fund will match the value of the funds raised from the top two items up to the value of £2,000.
Last year’s popular items included:
• Tour of the Lotus F1 technical centre for two guests
• T-in-the-Park headliners signed guitar including Arctic Monkeys and Kaiser Chiefs
• Luxury apartment in Villefranche Sur Mer, Southern France for one week
• St Paul’s Cathedral private tour and lunch for four guests
Five small charities will also be featured on eBay’s checkout area during Small Charity Week from June 13th to 19th.
Charities have until 6th May to register and until 26th May to submit up to 10 items. Charities can register their interest by contacting The FSI at in**@sm**************.com. Full details are available on the Small Charity Week website.
