Terence Higgins Trust invites the nation to Toss Off on Pancake Day
HIV and sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust has launched ‘Toss Off’, its new tongue-in-cheek fundraising campaign for Pancake Day.
Toss Off invites friends to get together on 9 February to host pancake parties in their homes, have fun, and donate to Terrence Higgins Trust to support people living with and affected by HIV. The charity suggests guests make a £10 donation.
You can register to host a Toss Off party now.
Sonya Trivedy, Fundraising Director at Terrence Higgins Trust, said:
“This Pancake Day we hope people all over the country will come together, toss pancakes with their friends and raise money to support people living with and affected by HIV.
“Toss Off is a cheeky play on words, encouraging people to host pancake tossing parties and support the UK’s largest HIV and sexual health charity at the same time”.

The campaign was developed by Consider Creative. On the company’s blog they explained:
“While the work of Terrence Higgins Trust is very serious indeed, the campaign itself needed to be all about raising awareness of sexual health by having fun with your friends and, well, being a bit smutty in the process”.
The campaign gets the full ‘Carry On’ film-style approach:
