CLIC Sargent is today launching a UK-wide appeal for jokes to help it raise awareness and reach new audiences. The Joke Appeal is aimed at comedy fans and younger adults aged from 16 to 45.
Supporters can donate their jokes online, where they can also find out about the work of CLIC Sargent. Comedians including Tim Vine, Adam Bloom, Chris Ramsey and Lee Nelson have already donated jokes.
The Joke Appeal runs until 8 August 2014 and is being promoted by a 90-second film which will be shown online and at cinemas from 11 July.

The appeal has been created for CLIC Sargent by marketing/advertising agency Havas at no charge.
Liz North, Director of Communications and Campaigning at CLIC Sargent, said:

“Laughter can be really important in dealing with the challenges that cancer brings, and by donating their jokes, the public will be able to show their support for children and young people with cancer.”
