Death to Stock offers free photoshoot to a charity

Howard Lake | 24 November 2015 | News

Death to Stock, a source of free high-quality photos, is offering a free one-day photoshoot to a charity in the USA or UK.
Founders Allie and David are offering to “send out a crazy talented photographer to do a full shoot with around 75 edited photos for your site and promo materials”.
Death to Stock also offers a premium service, with a percentage of the income from that being used to fund other photographers and to donate to not-for-profit organisations.
They recognised that “stock [photo] content for nonprofits tends to be limited and often doesn’t accurately or positively represent the people they serve”. As a result:

“So we’re on a mission to create captivating, real images for ONE NONPROFIT who serves populations facing specific challenges: e.g. those in need of medical support, or food and housing assistance, or organizations supporting those in need in third-world countries”.

Charities can apply or individuals can nominate them.
Every organisation that enters will receive access to a nonprofit-specific 15-photo pack.
The closing date for Death to Stock’s free photoshoot competition is 27 November 2015.
