A simple selfie photo is the least you can do for charity these days. WWF UK is the latest charity to tap into this popularity with Wear it Wild, its first national mass-participation fundraising campaign.

Announced on 5 June, the environmental charity invites the public to “Don a onesie, back comb your hair or just go wild with your fingernails!” The campaign is designed both to raise funds and awareness of the rapid decline in global wildlife populations.

Supported by celebrities including CBBC presenter Cel Spellman, the campaign invites supporters to download a free fundraising pack. This contains fundraising ideas and inspiration, including how to host events, make donations, and share their outfits on social media using the hashtag #WearItWild.

The video campaign element has been created by Impact Video Production, a London based video production company creating promotional films for the arts and culture industries. The videos’ aim was “to raise awareness of the Living Planet report in schools, aimed at children 7 – 11 and entice them to get involved with the fundraising campaign”.

The overall campaign was developed by agency Naked.
