IoF introduces mobile app for National Convention

The Institute of Fundraising has produced a mobile app for delegates at this month’s National Convention in London.
Designed by event mobile app specialists CrowdCompass, the app offers detailed information and networking tools for the delegates. This is the first time that the Institute has offered an app for an event that it runs.

The app also offers an array of social login options (using LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook or Google) which make it easier for delegates to login but which could also help the Institute learn even more about its’ delegates interests.
Some of the content is native to the app while some sections simply link to the relevant content on the Institute’s website, which is not currently optimised for mobile devices.
If you are not attending the National Convention you can still access a web version of the app.
The free app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android.
Once signed up, there is the potential for the Institute of Fundraising to extend the app to cover other events and conferences.
The Institute has previously published an app to help calculate tax-effective giving.
