Bitdefender antivirus software now available to charities via software donation programme

Technology Trust has made Bitdefender antivirus software available to eligible charities through its software donation programme. Charities can now acquire the cloud-based software at up to 90% off the retail price at tt-exchange.
The softare, voted antivirus software of the year for 2014 by PCmag.com, is available in a range of packages. Charities can choose from:

Technology Trust selected say that, because it was “originally designed with consumers in mind”, it “does not require IT or security experts to implement or use, making it ideal for charities of all sizes to run”.
It can be installed onto an unlimited number of Windows or Mac desktops and protects against malware and web threats. It also secures online payments and protects organisations’ internet connections via its firewall.
Catalin Cosoi, chief security strategist at  Bitdefender®, said:
