Online presentation software SlideRocket is now party of CTT’s technology donation programme, CTXchange. Charities and and not-for-profit organisations will be able to access the software as a CTXchange donation.
SlideRocket is a web-based service for creating, managing and sharing online multimedia presentations. It lets you create slideshows from within any browser, or to import them from existing PowerPoint slide decks or Google Docs presentations.
J.J. Freitag, Chief Operating Officer of SlideRocket, said: “CTXchange is a wonderful way of making mainstream software available to the charitable and voluntary sector. Our cloud-based model, which allows organisations simply to tap into the software via the internet whenever they need it, is perfect for these types of organisations. We are delighted to be part of the programme and look forward to seeing SlideRocket help as many not-for-profit organisations as possible.”
Richard Craig, CEO of CTT, added: “SlideRocket’s availability via CTXchange will make it possible for [charities and not-for-profit organisations] to produce interactive presentations of an exceptionally high standard, incorporating audio, video and animation, all from an easy to use service.”
CTXchange is part of a global partnership operated by Techsoup, headquartered in the USA. The programme has helped donate hardware and software to over 6,000 charities.
