This intensive and practical workshop is designed to assist those organisations which have yet to develop substantial major donor fundraising programmes and wish to do so. The workshop will also benefit those organisations who have already set up a programme, but wish to take their programme to the next level.
Core Content
The course will use a wide range of case studies and interactive group sessions to look in detail at the motivations, aspirations and interests of both the established wealthy and the large numbers of 'new rich'.
Participants will gain valuable insights into the following areas:

– developing strategy
– identify suitable high net worth individuals
– donor motivations
– making the ask
– and how fundraisers can tailor individual fundraising propositions which work to ensure that they retain donors, building commitment to ensure that the size and frequency of gifts increase

Trainer profile
The course is led by Ondine Upton, who has 18 years' experience as a fundraiser, trustee and grant-maker. A superb major donor fundraiser, she is adept at "making the ask" and training others to do so.
