GSK’s IMPACT Awards offer core funding up to £40,000 for health charities
The GSK IMPACT Awards 2014 are open for application, offering core funding and free training for health charities.
The awards reward charities that are doing excellent work to improve people’s health. Run since 1997, they are funded by GlaxoSmithKline and managed in partnership with The King’s Fund.
To be eligible, organisations must:

- have been operating for at least three years
- work in a health-related field in the UK
- have an annual income of between £25,000 and £2 million.
Up to ten winners will receive £30,000 plus the overall winner will receive an extra £10,000. Up to 10 runners-up will receive £3,000. The winners do not need to present a new project, meaning that they can decide how to spend the award money.
Award winners will also receive free training valued at £4,000. Organisations will also have a film made, receive help with press and publicity and be given a set of promotional materials.
The closing date for applications to the GSK IMPACT Awards 2014 is 20 September 2013.
