Eddie Stobart drivers release Christmas charity single
Drivers with the Eddie Stobart truck company have released a Christmas charity single to help raise funds for Help for Heroes.
The parody 12 Days of Christmas features lyrics that make humorous references to the work Eddie Stobart does in delivering Christmas goods to the nation, including “Four Frozen Turkeys”, “Ten Mince Pies” and “Seven Spotters Spotting”.

The choice to support a military charity raises from the fact that 10% of Eddie Stobart drivers come from a military background. Two of the singers, Matt Ekins and Lee Dowling, served together in Bosnia with the Royal Logistics Corp.
Channel 5 will broadcast a programme on the making of the single together with the song’s video as part of its Eddie Stobart’s Christmas Cracker, broadcast on Christmas Eve (9pm) and Christmas Day (7.05pm).
