Howard Lake | 10 December 2012 | News

Grants up to €20,000 are now available for organisations conducting research into ageing and health in Ireland. The Centre for Ageing Research and Development in Ireland (CARDI) is providing €100,000 for projects which use recently published research data on ageing.

As examples of this data, CARDI refers to the 2011 Census in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and the Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing.

Applications for individual grants range from €5,000 to a maximum of €20,000 available for a single project. Applications are invited from individuals or groups from academic, non-profit and voluntary and community sectors. The deadline for applications is 4 February 2013 and application forms, which are available on the website, can be submitted electronically.
