Hilton offers £10,000 in Northern Ireland

Howard Lake | 10 October 2012 | News

A local newspaper and Hilton hotels in Northern Ireland have launched a £10,000 charity fund.

The fund has been made available from the Hilton in the Community Foundation and is aimed at helping organisations and projects that are run by volunteers which benefit young people. The fund will be promoted with the Sunday Life newspaper.

Team members at Hilton Belfast and Hilton Templepatrick have been raising money through a series of events and now want to distribute the money raised. In 2011 ten local causes working with young people benefited from awards varying from £100 to £2,000.

The Fund can provide support for the whole project or part fund costs. Applicants are asked to give specific details of what the money will be used for and how young people will benefit.

Applications can be made online. There is also a local contact for the Fund, gi**************@hi****.com">Gillian McDowell at Hilton Belfast, who can be contacted on 028 9027 7205.

The deadline for completed applications is 30 October 2012.
