Applications for the 2012 World of Difference UK programme are now open. Each year, the Vodafone World of Difference UK programme gives 500 people the chance to work for a UK charity of their choice, and get paid. They can choose to work either full-time for two months or part-time for four.

As well as providing support to charities, the programme has so far helped 1,500 people bring valuable skills and experience to charitable organisations across the UK.

For the first time, the World of Difference UK 2012 programme will be open to all previous participants and offers both full and part-time placements.
