Nominate a regional charity to win a new £250k house

Howard Lake | 13 July 2012 | News

House building company Persimmon Homes is celebrating its 40th anniversary by giving away a new house worth up to £250,000 to a regional charity.
The three-bedroom detached family home will be handed over to the charity in September 2012. The charity will own it completely and be free to do what it wants, including selling it. In addition Persimmon Homes is giving away runner up prizes of £6,000 each to 23 other charities.
To be eligible, charities must work regionally and have an annual turnover of less than £10 million.
Charities should be nominated in no more than 250 words, explaining why the charity should win the new home. A shortlist of 24 charities will then be drawn up by a panel of judges before a final public vote.

Nominations close on 18 July 2012.
