Swimathon Foundation offers grants to promote participation in swimming

Howard Lake | 28 November 2011 | News

The Swimathon Foundation is offering grants of between £300 and £2,500 to help boost participation in swimming.
The grants are available to swimming pools, community organisations and charities who can demonstrate how funding will allow them to help more people participate in and enjoy swimming and to make swimming more accessible.
Grants are available for projects such as equipment, making swimming tuition available to people who would have difficulty accessing normal lesson programmes, providing increased swimming participation, and creating opportunities for those who can gain a special benefit through healthy aquatic exercise.
The first round of applications closes on 12 December 2011. Apply to the Swimathon Foundation.
