Jerome Moisan has been appointed as the Managing Director of Blackbaud Europe. He joins the software and services company from technology travel company Travelport where he was managing director for the UK, Ireland, and France.
With his track record in international business and technology, and experience of running regional and national businesses across Europe, Moison will be responsible for growing the European arm of Blackbaud’s International Business Unit. He will also be responsible for introducing new products and services tailored to the UK and European markets, and growing the organisation through acquisition and co-operative partnerships.
Based in London, Moisan will work with his staff teams in both London and Glasgow, Blackbaud’s European not-for-profit customer base, and the European not-for-profit community. Blackbaud Europe’s senior management team will report directly to Jerome, and he will report to Brad Holman, president of international markets. He will attend Blackbaud Europe’s Conference for Not-for-Profits 2011 on 10 and 11 October and will join the company on 31 October 2011.
Holman commented: “Jerome’s successful track record in growing global businesses coupled with his customer-focused approach make him the ideal candidate to lead Blackbaud Europe”.
Moisan said that he found the not-for-profit sector “inspiring… and intricate in its fundraising and management needs. There are huge opportunities for not-for-profit organisations to transform their performance by taking greater advantage of technology, and Blackbaud helps support those transformations.”
