Fundraising Ireland seeks speaker proposals for its 2012 conference
Fundraising Ireland is inviting proposals for speaker sessions at its National Fundraising Conference next year. The event takes place from 3-4 April 2012 at the Convention Centre, Dublin.
Last year’s conference, Smart Fundraising, tackled the challenges of fundraising amid the current economic problems, and it sold out. Speakers included UK Fundraising’s Howard Lake. So the call for proposals is not restricted solely to fundraisers in Ireland.
The conference’s organisers are looking for proposals on a broad range of fundraising topics and want to hear from a diverse voices within the fundraising community. In particular they want to hear about innovative strategies, insightful perspectives and inspiring case studies that other fundraisers could benefit from.
While the conference features speakers from charities as well as agencies, the organisers will as usual reject sessions that they feel are not impartial or are primarily showcases for agency work or suppliers’ products.
The deadline to submit proposals is 31 October 2011. The Committee will make their decision by the end of November 2011.
