New Comic Relief funding for Dorset

New Comic Relief funding for Dorset

Dorset’s Community Foundation is now accepting applications from local charities for Comic Relief’s small grants programme for 2011 – 2013.

Over the next two years £55, 239 will be available to fund community projects that support vulnerable people living in Dorset. Up to 50% of the money which is available is going to be awarded to sports projects which increase access to sport and exercise for people who are socially excluded or disadvantaged in some way.

The Foundation receives a lot of applications from the main towns of Bournemouth and Poole but is keen to distribute the more evenly across the county.
