GSK’s IMPACT Awards offer core funding and free training for health charities

Howard Lake | 6 July 2011 | News

GSK’s IMPACT Awards are again open for applications. They are designed to reward charities that are doing excellent work to improve people’s health.
To apply, registered charities must be at least three years old, work in a health-related field in the UK and have an annual income of between £10,000 and £1.5 million. Up to 15 awards will be made ranging from £3,000 to £35,000 plus free training valued at £4,000. The winners can choose how to spend the money: they are not tied to any particular project.
The awards have been run since 1997. They are funded by GlaxoSmithKline and managed in partnership with The King’s Fund.
The closing date for applications is 23 September 2011.
