Soldiers Charity aims for victory at Waterloo
ABF The Soldiers’ Charity has unveiled a huge poster advert at London’s Waterloo station as part of an awareness campaign.
An advert measuring 42 metres in length and 8.5 metres high now appears above the entrance to the former Eurostar Terminal. It depicts some of the soldiers and their families who have received grants from the charity.
Sophie McCready, Head of Communications at ABF The Soldiers’ Charity said: “We are really excited to be able to share with London’s commuters some of the faces that The Soldiers’ Charity has supported. Thanks to the generous support of BRB Residuary Ltd, we have been given this prime spot until the end of April.”
Jim Lynott, Operational Property Manager at BRB Residuary Limited added: “There are a lot of organisations out there that are deserving and The Soldiers’ Charity is perhaps not one that comes to the front of your mind so we are happy to help, even in a small way, to show our appreciation and support by helping to raise the profile of a charity that supports those who have stood up for us.”
