Irish fundraising conference announced for March

Fundraising Ireland, the association for professional fundraisers in Ireland, has announced preliminary details of its annual fundraising conference and awards.
The organisation’s third annual National Fundraising Conference will take place on 29 and 30 March 2011.
Speakers already confirmed are Tony Elischer (THINK Consulting Solutions), Damien O’Broin (Ask Direct) David Dixon (David Dixon Associates), Stephen Pidgeon (Tangible Response UK), Lori Davis (DSPCA), David McLoughlin (Wexford Opera House) and UK Fundraising’s Howard Lake.
The Fundraising Ireland Awards will follow the National Conference. Fundraising Ireland will host these Awards for the first time. Due to Fundraising Ireland’s affiliation with EFA (European Fundraising Association), the winners of the Fundraising Ireland Awards will also be nominated for the IFC International Fundraising Awards, in October 2011.
