Intuit UK to give £500 each fortnight in online charity vote

Howard Lake | 20 September 2010 | News

Over the next two months financial software company Intuit UK will be giving £500 every two weeks to a UK registered charity, chosen from a shortlist of five as voted for by the public.
In the first draw of the Intuit Charity Challenge, the five charities that receive the most votes by midnight on 27 September will go to the final judging panel for the winner to be decided. All five finalists will receive Intuit UK’s Pro software and unlimited support, “to help our chosen charities stay on top of their accounts and give them more time to do what they do best”.
To enter, charities simply have to fill in some contact details and explain in 200 words of less how they would use the £500.
The deadlines for the four giveaways are:
Challenge 1 – open for entries 13 – 27 September
Challenge 2 – open for entries 30 September – 14 October
Challenge 3 – open for entries 19 October – 2 November
Challenge 4 – open for entries 5 – 19 November
