Hot pink taxis promote Wear It Pink campaign

Howard Lake | 21 October 2010 | News

Stain removal brand Vanish is sponsoring some eye-catching hot pink taxis in London with the aim of encouraging people to ‘wear it pink’ and support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

A Reckitt Benckiser brand, Vanish is aiming to raise £250,000 for Breast Cancer Campaign this year.

Last year over a million people took part in wear it pink, raising over £3 million to help fund research and improve survival rates for the one in nine women who experience breast cancer during their lifetime.

To take part, people simply have to wear something pink to work or school and donate £2 to help fund breast cancer research.

Reckitt Benckiser UK Marketing Director Stefan Gaa said: “The eye catching hot pink taxis are great ‘vehicles’ for raising awareness of the wear it pink initiative.”
