Whitewater has announced a redeveloped website for its in memoriam and tribute giving service Our Lasting Tribute. The new site is intended to showcase the ease with which charities can set up in memoriam funds and the benefits that can be delivered.
The service is already in use by charities such as the NSPCC, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Asthma UK, Meningitis Trust, RNLI and St Dunstans. According to Whitewater, several charities have achieved returns on investment of 15:1 or more. The site does not take a commission on donations.
“We are convinced,” said Mark Roper, Managing Director of Whitewater, “that if more charities knew about the truly extraordinary ROIs being achieved by many of our clients, then more charities would be strategically committed to this form of fundraising.” He anticipates that the new site will help quadruple the number of charities using the service over the next two years. “A successful tribute fund can inspire people to raise large sums of money for their chosen charity”, he added. “The platform provides a completely branded environment for a charity – giving them the chance to manage tribute fund raising.”
Whitewater intend that the site becomes an active community site for In Memoriam fundraisers with video tutorials, a forum, and a blog by In memoriam expert, Steve Andrews.
