A key goal for the Foundation will be to ‘make a real difference’ by having a positive measurable societal impact in the areas of climate change, resource sustainability and security of energy supply.

Tanya Harrington’s professional interests have focused on the areas of energy security, climate change and natural resources policy. Over the last four and a half years, she has acted as an advisor in two Government Departments (the Department of Transport & the Department of Energy, Communications & Natural Resources) specifically in the areas of energy policy and climate change.

“As Foundation Director, I will set out the strategic priorities for the NTR Foundation across the three thematic areas of climate change, security of energy supply and resource sustainability, identify the programmes to support and allocate and manage those awards,” said Tanya Harrington, NTR Foundation Director.

“The Foundation will seek to harness and support innovation and will leverage NTR business expertise to support entrepreneurial projects with the ambition to bring such projects to scale.”
