Cats Protection launches brand response TV ad

Howard Lake | 8 January 2008 | News

Cats Protection is testing an emotive campaign on digital and terrestrial TV to raise its profile and increase response from a wider audience.
The ad has been created by TDA and is designed to reach out to new audiences, encouraging donations from people who love cats but who may not have considered supporting the charity in the past. Actor and cat lover James Bolam provides the voiceover to the ad which features stark stories about individual cats.

"Our new TV ad is simple and engaging," said Janet Wickens, Head of Fundraising and Communications at Cats Protection. "It poignantly highlights the vulnerability of cats and the many reasons why they end up in our care."
"We have created a campaign that will captivate and motivate the target audience with its simplicity of message," said Matt Hall, Senior Account Director at TDA. "Our move to broader appeal media channels is designed to both raise awareness of Cats Protection and generate donation response."
