Third Sector Centre offers leadership tips
The Third Sector Leadership Centre has produced a report that outlines 10 ways that leaders of charity, voluntary organisations and community groups can develop their skills and become better chairs, directors and chief executives.
The report, Learning to Lead uses tools and methods that have been used by leaders to enhance their own effectiveness and performance as well as that of their organisations and the wider voluntary and community sector.
Recommendations include: join an action learning set; undertake an assessment of skills; access a coach; benchmark yourself against a competency framework and research your needs and direct your own learning.
