Estate agents raise €175,000 for charity

Irish estate agents Sherry Fitzgerald has raised €175,000 for a Dublin children’s hospital. The money was raised at a recent 10km walkathon.
Temple Street Children’s University Hospital will use the money for the renovation of a nearby house which was purchased in 2006 as part of the Sherry Fitzgerald ‘Your Home Away From Home’ project to assist the hospital buy a house that could be used as accommodation for the parents of sick children from outside Dublin.
The project provides practical support for families who would otherwise have the added burden of funding regular stays in Dublin.
