IPC Media chooses its first charity of the year

Consumer magazine publisher IPC Media has chosen the British Institute for Brain Injured Children (BIBIC) as its first charity of the year following a company-wide vote. BIBIC will be the focus of IPC Media’s fundraising efforts for 15 months.

Taryn Barclay, IPC Media’s corporate responsibility manager, said: “The next 15 months are going to be very exciting for both IPC and BIBIC, with lots of fundraising events to help children with disabilities or learning difficulties caused by a brain injury. This programme forms a core part of IPC’s strategy to engage its employees in the wider corporate responsibility agenda, over and above the many fantastic charity partnerships that exist already with our magazines.”

BIBIC was chosen from three finalist charities, the other two being The Samaritans Central London and Kids’ City.
