Small grants deadline looms

A small grants programme administered by the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland will close on 18th August. The aim of the Small Grants Programme is to develop community capacity and promote active citizenship within those areas and amongst those groups of people where vibrant community groups do not exist and where mechanisms for people to participate in community development activity are not well developed.

The grants programme is subject to tight eligibility guidelines, with organisations employing paid staff not able to apply.
Organisations currently in receipt of a large/main grant under any other Measure of the PEACE II Programme including the PEACE II Extension are also ineligible.

Funding for the programme is under the EU Measure 2.7 Applications are being considered on a ‘rolling basis’ up to 18th August.
