A group of charities formed to promote legacy giving to charities in Ireland is developing a special website. Over 20 charities make up the group with more being encouraged to join.

The Legacy Promotion Group Ireland recently commissioned research which will form the basis of a national campaign. Benefits for new members joining the group include access to the research which will also help to determine any internal Legacy Giving strategies as well as giving organizations the opportunity to be part of the national legacy giving campaign.

The website will include details of each charity in the group as well as information on legacies. The value of legacies in Ireland has grown significantly in recent years in Ireland due to the economic boom and increase in property values.
