Baby Lifeline, the national charity providing support to pregnant women and new mothers, has launched its annual fundraising week to raise funds to improve maternity care in UK hospitals.

Hundreds of nurseries and pre-schools are expected to take part in National Mother and Baby Week which started on 26 March.

The highlight of the week is the Little People’s Great Big Party, a celebratory event taking place at nurseries, pre-schools and mother-and-baby groups around the country on March 30.
