Institute to hold conference on event fundraising

The next one-day conference from the Institute of Fundraising will focus on event fundraising. It will be held at Inmarsat, London on 17 May 2006.

The conference will present several case study-based examples, together with advice and expertise from major and smaller charities.

Organisations presenting include Bates Wells and Braithwaite, Capability Scotland, RNLI, Guide Dogs, Poppy Scotland, and The Brooke.

The conference will cover working with volunteers, developing innovative ideas, cost-effective marketing, improving upon existing events, and converting first-time event participants into long-term supporters.
