Since its 2003 launch by the Eazyfone Group, Fones4Schools’ cash and prize mobile phone recycling scheme has handed out over £450,000 to schools and pupil participants.

The Fones4Schools campaign claims to be “the only one of its kind that gives prizes to every participant as well as cash donations to schools.”

Fones4Schools asks schools and their pupils to collect as many redundant mobile telephones, of any condition, as they can. In return the school receives a £300 cash donation for every 200 phones collected, and individual participants receive a prize, from DVD’s and video games to widescreen TV’s.
