AMA are finalists in Call Centre Environment competition

Howard Lake | 26 November 2004 | News

Northern Ireland-based call centre and total fulfilment agency Anderson Manning Associates have been selected as a finalist in the annual Datapoint Call Centre Environment competition.

AMA initiatives that have been recognised by the Datapoint Award include birthday cards and vouchers for employees’ birthdays, with long standing employees getting their birthday off; incentive programmes, with bonus vouchers for operators of the week/month; flexible working; Jeans for Charity Day every Friday with operators giving £1 to the charity of their choice or particular charities; regular training; entering staff for external awards; and “lots of parties”.

The agency, with works with a range of charities, is certainly doing something right as it boasts only 4% staff turnover per annum.

Fintan Bradley, Marketing Director of AMA, said: “We have always prided ourselves on being a ‘people’ company; focusing on providing good and fair working conditions and a pleasant environment for our staff. Our open plan design was created to provide a relaxed and motivating working environment. Being nominated a finalist in the Datapoint competition is very encouraging.”
