Pushing the envelope for the National Literacy Trust
Pitney Bowes, the integrated document and mail management system provider, has asked a range of celebrities to decorate an envelope to be auctioned on 30 September for the National Literacy Trust.
Pitney Bowes approahced some of Britain’s top actors, writers, illustrators, sportspeople and personalities to invite them to display their creative talents.
David Denny, Vice President Human Resources at Pitney Bowes said: “The unusual format does seem to have captured the imagination of some of the UK’s most famous faces.”

Contributors include cult children’s author Neil Arksey, illustrator Quentin Blake, best-selling author Tracy Chevalier, actor and comedian Robbie Coltrane, former boxer Sir Henry Cooper, and BBC Newsreader Huw Edwards.
To date 44 designs have been received with many more promised.
