BBC Radio Scotland offers help for community fundraising events

Howard Lake | 17 February 2005 | News

BBC Radio Scotland are inviting suggestions from community groups who think their fundraising event could benefit from one of their presenters and a celebrity getting involved.

Let’s Do The Show Right Here! is returning for another series and plans to feature unusual fundraising events held in a hall by local community organisations.

Previous celebrities that have been booked by BBC Scotland to boost the events’ appeal include Darius, Barbara Dickson, Paul Daniels and Nicholas Parsons. Events in past series have raised £1,500, £2,500, and nearly £3,000.
