NSPCC ambassador Kylie Minogue is helping the charity encourage schools to sign up for its national maths-focused fundraising event, Number Day 2004, which will be held on 1 December 2004 and aims to raise £200,000 for the FULL STOP Appeal to end child cruelty.
Following on from the success of Number Day 2002, the NSPCC is working again this year in partnership with Count On, the Government’s maths-for-all initiative. The Capita Group PLC has once again joined forces with the NSPCC as official event sponsor.
The 2003 event saw around 500 schools taking part, with pupils raising £187,000 for the NSPCC.
