Michael Gilbert publishes '21st Century Fundraising Resources'

Michael C. Gilbert, publisher of the Gilbert E-mail Manifesto and non-profit technology expert, has published a new report listing useful annotated resources for online fundraisers.

Gilbert’s “21st Century Fundraising Resources” is a compilation of 94 of “the best fundraising resources” organised into nine categories, including Community, E-mail, Design, Principles, and Web sites. They have all been gathered from his Nonprofit Online News service from 2001 to 2003.

He admits that “we don’t know what fundraising is going to look like” but he believes the 94 annotated resources give us some hints. For example, “organisations will be integrating their fundraising with other programmes. Donors will feel like we are listening to them once again. Good fundraisers will be investing in community, the network, and the connections between donors.”

The publication includes a newly revised version of his essay on “Frictionless Fundraising”, first published at Nonprofit Online News January 2003.

21st Century Fundraising Resources can be ordered online for $9.95. The report comes with a corporate license, which means that purchasers can share it with people within their organisation, whether on paper or on an intranet.
