ARC selects Touchstone for fundraising CRM system

Medical research charity Arthritis Research Campaign (ARC) has selected IT services group Touchstone to improve IT support for fundraising across the organisation.
ARC expects the agency to help achieve its aim of increasing net fundraising income by 10% per annum. Touchstone will be implementing an integrated financial management and CRM system for the charity.
ARC’s fundraising activities are managed both nationally and locally at regional branches and the organisation also runs charity shops across the UK.
Dominic Payne, Head of Finance and Administration at ARC, said: “We required a system which would not only improve the speed and efficiency of the processing, reviewing and analysing of grant applications, but one that would also allow us to analyse our donor base and improve our marketing campaigns.”
After a period of consultation, Touchstone recommended a Microsoft Great Plains financial management system to manage the accounts, integrated with a SalesLogix CRM system to manage the fundraising and grant process.
ARC believes that the integrated system will help to improve the visibility and effectiveness of fundraising campaigns, giving the organisation the ability to analyse the success of a campaign and segment the donor database in order to undertake more targeted campaigns and make more informed management decisions based upon up to date accurate information. The organisation expects to be able to work more effectively with external agencies by giving them access to data through the SalesLogix system.
