The ten charities that will benefit from the UK’s first mobile lottery have been announced.

The charities include The Children’s Society, Cancer Research UK, International Care and Relief, WaterAid, and Afrikids. The Mobile Lottery, founded by Charles Cohen, the former founder of online currency Beenz, will donate 20p of each £1 ticket sold.

Donations will be made to each charity in turn to ensure an equal distribution. Lottery players will be informed which charity has benefited after they buy a ticket.
